Age: 5 months
Diaper size: 2
Clothing: 3-6, or 6 months
DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITY:
S is a rolling machine, and can't be stopped. She loves to be on her tummy or standing up on our laps, and has found her voice this month, really getting going with her story telling. She adores her daddy and her big brothers, and has the biggest grin on her face anytime she spots them or they come and give her their undivided attention. G is such a sweetheart, and always bringing her toys and blankets to lay down with her on her playmat, while C likes to lay with her face to face and cover them both up with a blanket to snuggle, or come tell her stories while she is in the bouncer watching whatever happens to be going on.
SCHEDULE:
S's schedule is much the same this month, with the addition of a more structured nap schedule. She sometimes catches a few winks during the mornings during drop-off or pick-up for our now school age C, but is becoming more consistent about napping around the same time as her brothers in the afternoon around 1:30pm for a longer nap.
FAVORITE TOY:
S spends most of her time playing on the floor and on her tummy, and continues to love her play gym. I also busted out the teethers this month, and she has been a quick study of getting them in her mouth to chew on. Another favorite is this taggie baby doll that goes with anytime she is in her carseat.
STORYTIME:
S enjoys story time probably as much as any five month old. I did get out some soft cloth books that have different textures and crinkle, and she has been enjoying (mostly chewing on and playing with) those, but does a pretty good job of listening to any story I happen to be reading her big brothers as well.
CUISINE:
Still straight milk. She nurses throughout the day every three hours or so, and has a 4oz bottle + nurses right at bedtime.

OH THE MEMORIES:
This month, we spent All. The. Time. making memories. Outside...on boat rides...at the Touch-A-Truck event in Spencer (S was super excited about that no doubt!)...riding the Ferris wheel and train at Arnold's Park...and just in general showering our little S with as many kisses, snuggles, and family time that we could fit in. She makes the perfect little sidekick to her big brothers, and has the best smiles warming our hearts every day.
Love these little friends!
